DOT 4 Full Synthetic Brake Fluid is a moisture resistant full synthetic high performance brake fluid based on glycols with corrosion inhibitors. It meets the latest Australian and International standards and is fully miscible and compatible with almost every fully synthetic brake fluid except DOT 5.1.
HANDLING & APPLICATION
DOT 4 Full Synthetic Brake Fluid maintains absolute cleanliness when handling brake components. Avoid contamination with other fluids and use only brake fluid for flushing the system. Reseal all containers and cap reservoirs immediately as atmospheric moisture will lower the vapour lock/boiling point and noticeably reduce performance.Fluids not complying with Australian Standard 1960 – 1983 Grade 3 should not be mixed with DOT 4 Full Synthetic Brake Fluid because the boiling point and low temperature properties may be adversely affected.
If mixed, the brake system must be drained and refilled with fresh Brake Fluid as soon as possible. Fill with fresh fluid every 12 months to maintain a high vapour lock/boiling point for best performance and to minimize corrosion.
